AU office and exhibition space by Archi Union Architects Inc

This old warehouse on the Way Jungong, abandoned and deteriorated, now you’ve been given a new life, a new program by transforming it into exhibition space and an office. Located in a complex of newly trained artists, the area consists of three identical areas, totaling 1,200 square meters. The central warehouse has been converted into a recreation space and foyer exhibition hall and study.

The outer wall surrounds the tank parametric building on three sides. Parametric processes have been used here to express mostly the contours and the definition of silk rippling in the wind, a sign of his past. The wall consists of concrete blocks, designed to create an interesting texture and different levels of light to enter. Inside there are two spaces and exhibition areas. The roof of this space is left intact, but was renewed. Large windows are controlled along both walls of natural light flooding the large open space.

The central staircase leads to a mezzanine level for sports and recreation. In the rear of the building is open plan office (open-plan). Here, the original details and finishes are preserved, and contemporary furnishings were made to contrast the old with the contemporary.
