Apartment Renovation by Yahav Marom
his 85 sqm 3-levels apartment, which is located within a large scale (130 apartments) residential building, has undergone a massive facelift. It has a magnificent panoramic view, of both the City’s port on one side, and the entire mt. Carmel ridge skyline on the other side.
It was previously designed for an elderly couple, and had to be updated both visually and functionally in order to suit the architect’s young family needs and desires.
Using a fixed budget frame that was well defined at the beginning of the project, the architects managed to achieve a contemporary minimalist interior, To serve as a background to the beautiful surrounding scenery.
The renovation included elements such as:
- applying wood floor in the entire apartment
- repainting and renovation of the whole kitchen carpentry
- a new space divider between the living room and the kitchen – total renovation of both the bathroom and the toilet
- new carpentry and paint of the entire apartment
- redesign of the stairs railings
