Aharoni House by STAV
Aharoni The house has a section that comprises a fascinating opening point for exploration a new event architecture. It is located on a site of 2,023 m2 in the old part of Moshav Never Yarak, in central Sharon. The plot is framed on three sides by a vegetation 50 years old. The fourth side is defined by a dominant element in the home. The House conducts a dialogue with its environment through a series of sections that are developed along the longitudinal travel of the house.
The structure is essentially modern. Performing an experiment assimilates architectural event through the sections that generate space contrasts between low and horizontal and vertical long ladder, dramatically lit by windows set in height. The pool, seen as a horizontal plane perpendicular to the volume is part of the house, Framing a ceremonial entrance. The mirror-like surface and strong rectangular structure create an experience accompanied by natural light from above.
Creates architectural scene two parallel and complementary ways for the user to experience this place: all that lies in the the building and framing the green space, versus continuity of discoveries and surprises that the user is for the process through the house.
These individual events are partly derived from repetitive rituals create an atmosphere of home; and only partially dependent on the time and place. Therefore, architectural structure becomes a home, a place that gives a sense of belonging, identity and meaning.
